What are your suggestions for improving the course? (write as much as you like)
  1. I loved the course, I can't think of a way to better it.
  2. An audio introduction to each module would be nice.
  3. I think the coarse was good and I think there should be more problems with calculations in the quizzes.
  4. None at this time
  5. I like the class the way it is.
  6. Not really sure about any more suggestions.  I really liked the class
  7. More explanation of course material, larger print, and the course needs a better glossary and printed in the book.
  8. None
  9. This is my third online course with Bob George. I enjoy his classes and the format of the website. I don't have any suggestions for improvement.
  10. After working with my own job problems all day, I found coming home and doing arduous computations in a field that I know nothing about pretty useless. I learned some techniques that I hope will be useful but right now I'm not sure how. What would be more useful for me personally, would be to learn how to set up a software program to be able to compile and manipulate data to give me this information at my fingertips and help streamline my job. After all this is a computer oriented online course.
  11. none
  12. The textbook (binder) was very pricey for not very much info. From my college days, the textbook provided a foundation for subject mastery and discussion.
  13. No suggestions.
  14. Very good course
  15. I have no suggestions. The course was concise and informative.
  16. No suggestions at this time
  17. more instructor interaction
  18. I have no suggestions I thought the course was great. Thank you
  19. I thought this text book was very weak. There was a lack of information and It didn't seem like it came from the same author.
What is the greatest weakness or strength of the course?
  1. It gives people like myself a chance to go back to school.
  2. The greatest strength is the interaction in the threaded discussion groups. This interaction is much more than in the typical classroom setting.
  3. The greatest strength of the course was the fact that I could get the info from my house.
  4. It was hard to give examples when I didn't have any.
  5. The instructor is the strength of the course.
  6. The modules and reading materials really helped to explain how to control costs and ways to improve preparing your budgets. The discussions from classmates were very good. They gave me ideas that I have already used on the job.
  7. Not being able to look up material that is not understood in the book
  8. Its weak in the production control
  9. Work at Home.
  10. The online courses offer the freedom that I need in order to take the class. This class was by far more challenging than the Blueprint Reading and Intro to Estimating Courses. Challenging = Education.
  11. Learning the varying degrees of the cost control cycle. Plus I think the online aspect is great. It really helps a guy like me, I otherwise would not be able to attend school.
  12. The strength is the diversity of the students.
  13. Bob's facilitation was very good. A good text would make the course excellent and give students broader knowledge with O.T.J. experience.
  14. The greatest strength for me was interaction between students. The diversity provides such a playgroud for learning. By the discussions being part of the grade, I felt forced into responding to others in addition to providing my own discussion and we seemed to encourage each other to voice our experience and opinions.
  15. Just like all other on-line courses Advantage: Do it at your own pace on you own time. Disadvantage: No human interaction.
  16. Finding time to sit long enough to do the work
  17. The section on productivity held most of my interest.
  18. I think the greatest strength of the course is the interaction between the students thru the discussions, and that the instructor steps in when necessary.
  19. information presented as fast or as slow as you want
  20. The greatest strength I think are the students.
  21. Once again I really didn't like the text book
What final comments do you have regarding either the course or the instructor? You can write as much as you like in the text box.
  1. I just want to say thanks for the help. Its much more one on one with the teacher I dug that.
  2. Bob is very prompt, I was very surprised as he has got to never sleep.
  3. This was my second on-line class and I found it much easier to navigate around the site. The on-line format is a GREAT tool for the working individual as it is an independent study type course.
  4. The course ins very informative and I found it very useful.
  5. Bob George was GREAT! He encouraged me to stick with the program. I'm glad i did.
  6. I like the course and intend to get registered for Productivity Improvement next.
  7. I like the on-line classes because I attend school at night after work and can complete the on-line materials at odd hours instead of having to be in class. It is easier on my homelife so I can at least be with my family a little more.
  8. I just would like to thank are instructor Bob George for a job well done, and I'm anxious to start the next course.
  9. It was all good.
  10. I enjoy Bob George's instruction. He is very responsive and his classes are a joy to take.
  11. Maybe it's because this is more tailored to General Contractors. But as an Electrical Contractor we hire subs and a lot of the functions. So it seems to me that some of these concepts could be taught in more general terms. There is no reason why I need to work through what it costs to change the oil in a push cat. Bob is an excellent instructor. His knowledge and understanding of the construction industry is a great resource. You'd be hard pressed to find a better qualified instructor.
  12. I like the format of these classes. They are made so that the students can feel good about their participation
  13. Thanks for the class Bob. Try and get the course cost down so my boss is less reluctant to pay. or maybe I can better afford the next installment.
  14. Bob, thank you for your outline and pursuing this format for learning. Your review at the end of each course was assuring in my being on tract with my interpretations and I look forward to the next class. Thank you.
  15. Bob George does a good job of replying to any questions that may arise.
  16. I enjoyed the course very much and can use what I learned immediately in my job. The instructor was very helpful.
  17. Great Job Bob George. Thanks
  18. I enjoyed it very informative.
  19. This was a good class, I learned from it and will utilize what I learned.
  20. I enjoyed the class
