Teaching:
I'm currently a high school mathematics
teacher at Oceanside High School. At my school I have led
teacher trainings in computer labs and development of new
curriculum for algebra.
I continually try to improve my teaching and
find new methods of teaching. I feel that making
connections between math and real world contexts is important.

This class:
When I was approached with teaching this class
I was exited. I see this is an opportunity to teach something
practical that people can use at their job site.
I want to make this class as useful as
possible for you. Sometimes I will use terminology that is
very math oriented. My hope is that after this class you
can continue your education in construction, and use what you
have learned in your life.
